Here is my IllustrationFriday.com illustration for plain. I really didn't know what to do my illustration on and then it just came to me....how about a plain potato....so here it is and I'm actually really happy on how the potato came out. currently I'm number one on the website but it looks like I will be moving down when more people post on there. Yep, a plain potato
Here is my IllustrationFriday.com illustration for plain. Ah! The potato! Always a ready and willing subject... nice work. It feels all warm and cozy, like a baked potato.
I think the colors and the values are great. Also, I think the subject is very fitting. I think that the composition is a little off. If you are going to have the potato off center, I think it should be a little more off center. Right now it seems like you arbitrarily cropped it.
Also, I would like a little more texture on the potato. It looks a little too smooth.
Looks real enough to eat. Good job!
