Im not real sure what the storyline is. Is the cat dreaming that it is flying? Did it die and is now a cat angel? I think if there was more detail in the images it would be easier to get your ideas across.
Steph these are a great start, and like I was telling you before, I think your third drawing should bring in another color - I really like how they each have a dominant color in them. The lines look nice but I think they are slightly thicker in the second drawing and I prefer the lighter lines in the first. Also, did you think about adding some whiskers? or maybe some back legs or tail hanging in the second one?
I really like the wings on the kitty. I would the clouds feel too flat though you should look up a cloud tutorial on Deviantart.com or try googleing in for one.
